Full Systems Buildout for Event Rentals Company

Lux Event Rentals is a party event rental company based in New Orleans, LA, USA providing luxury, high quality, event furniture, linens, and setups for all event types.

The company was founded in 2020 in the heart of the COVID19 global pandemic. Met with high demand, Lux became one of the most popular rental companies in the region by providing the most competitive pricing and quality rentals.

THE PROBLEM FACED BY THE ORGANIZATIONChallenges Presented to Our Team

Lux Event Rentals' customers experienced frustration when placing their orders on their previous website. LER also failed to find a way for their staff to track their time. There was extreme disorganization in the warehouse with an overwhelming amount of inventory that made it seem impossible to organize. This led to items taking more than one hour to find within the warehouse.
  • Improve sales and operations and order loading / unloading:

    Our consultants identified an opportunity to increase sales and revenue but streamlining operations and creating a better workflow in the warehouse to efficiently prepare orders and schedule deliveries.

  • Reorganize the Warehouse and Create an Inventory Management System:
    To understand how and when rentals were being rented, replaced, damaged or in need of repair, we determined the need to create an inventory management system. However, before creating the system, it would require us to re-organize the warehouse and create specific zones for items in order to facilitate an inventory count.

  • Optimize the website to help increase online sales:

    We determined the website needed to be optimized and streamlined to promote more user activity in online ordering. We also found that we needed to integrate a delivery tracking system, date selection and order details mechanism to keep all operations for the company on one platform (Shopify).

AGREEMENT OF CREATED PLAN

The assigned Consultant consulted with members of our design team and systems team to create a custom plan.

RE-ORGANIZATION

Once the plan was approved by the Client, our team facilitated the reorganization of the Client's warehouse and the revamp of their website.

SYSTEMS & POLICIES CREATION

After reorganizaton, our team created driver route tracking, customer management, inventory management and personnel management policies, handbooks and systems.

Lux Event Rentals staff are now able to use a mobile app with GPS tracking to track their hours. The administration team now enjoys a more streamlined and semi-automated process in obtaining details from their clients by receiving 85% of their order details from one checkout experience.

The company's operations are more streamlined with a Lowe's inspired and organized warehouse with overhead signage, row numbers and bay numbers to keep all items organized. All trucks are equipped with Ipads to assist in delivery and setup. The Human Resources department now has all of the required documentation on file for all of their personnel including personnel folders, job descriptions, disciplinary action and performance review documents.

  • 1. All interested persons must complete a waitlist application to confirm interest in this program.
  • 2. Once Waitlist application is received, you will be emailed a Mindset Readiness and Financial Stability Questionnaire. This questionnaire must be completed within 48 hours of receipt to be considered for this program.
  • 3. Completing the waitlist application and questionnaire does not confirm approval in this program.
  • 4. All applicants will be notified electronically, via email, regarding our program approval decision.
  • 5. To be considered, you must have 3 or more years in your current business.
  • 6. Your business must generate a minimum of $30,000 per month to be considered for this program.
  • 7. This experience requires a 12-month contractual commitment.

  • 1. A ScaleSmart Assessment and Questionnaire is required and must be completed and submitted within 72 business hours of purchase of your ScaleSmart Plan.
  • 2. A ScaleSmart Consultation must be scheduled within 5 days of purchase. The consultation is virtual and for one-hour. This consultation cannot be completed until the assessment and questionnaire is completed and returned.
  • 3. Once the assessment and consultation has been completed, Carrita Cloud & Associates will have fourteen (14) business days to write and create the plan. Once completed, the plan will be delivered electronically and followed up with an additional consult call.
  • 4. The final consultation call will be scheduled after completion of your ScaleSmart Plan.
